Working membership under these current circumstances is especially challenging since we are not having meetings, membership drives or revitalizations, but we must continue. This is a great time to contact those members who have not yet renewed for 2020 and those who have dropped out in the past few years and encourage their return. Also review those Post 345 members by the zip codes in the area of each post and encourage transferring into the local post. Remember their dues are going to $50 on 1 July 2020 vs. those dues of your local post.
Congratulations to each of you for all you do and continue to do and a special congrats to those Commanders in the Top 10.
It’s also very necessary to use the “Buddy Check” system and contact those members of your posts in the high risk category regarding their well being. In the last two days I’ve been contacted by my post and being a dual member I was also contacted by the SAL. I appreciated those contacts and hopefully all of you are doing the same.
Please continue to be safe and we will survive this.
Robert L. Masten
Commander, 3rd Division
