Please ensure the following is relayed to all of your posts, units and squadrons and encourage participation at the 3rd Division Convention on 30-31 May at Post 2 in San Antonio.
Advance and Full Registration Fees:
The advance registration fee for the annual 3rd Division Convention is $25.00 and must be received by May 15, 2020. No refunds will be made after that date. The full registration fee thereafter and at the Convention site shall be $35.00. Please note that the registration fee includes the meal to be served on Saturday evening and 1 free drink during the Commander and Presidents Reception before the meal.
The Division Commander, District Commanders, Division President of the Auxiliary and Division SAL Commander shall pay the full or advance registration fee of the convention the same as all other delegates.
The below are exempt from paying the registration fee:
Those World War I, World War II and Korean War Veterans are exempt in appreciation of their contribution.
The Department Commander, Department Vice Commander, Department Auxiliary President, Department Auxiliary Vice President, Department SAL Commander, Department SAL Vice Commander.
Those members who are attending for a short term for the sole purpose of promoting their candidacy for a Department position.
Those personnel who are part of the participating color guard.
Those personnel who are defined as a presenter and listed on the agenda.
Registration Payment Procedures:
All checks are to be made out to American Legion Post 10 and mailed to 3rd Division Registration, P.O. Box 591046, San Antonio, TX 78259-1046. Please include your email or telephone number and you will be notified after your check has been received.
